| Directions to the canoe club: To reach the canoe Club from Banbury, either: |
| Head north on the A361 until the top of Kalibergo Hill. Take the second turning on the left, signposted Cropredy. Go through Willimascot, then on for 1.5 miles until you reach Cropredy. Go over the canal bridge and the Canoe Club is directly on your right. Go through the double white gates and into the car park. |
| or: |
| Take the A423 from Banbury. Turn right signposted Great Bourton. Go through Great Bourton and continue on into Cropredy. At the junction (The Plantation) by the Brasenose pub, turn right. The canoe club is on the left, just before the canal bridge. Go through the double white gates and into the car park. |
If canoeists are in difficulties, they will give their nearest bridge or lock number as a location |
